Mentoring

Project One Way works to equip youth with the characteristics and skills to become influential members of society through Brandon Ross' B.L.I.S.S pillars:

Behavior

From methodical conflict resolution to counteracting toxic masculinity, Project One Way works to help youth redefine their experiences as positively impactful lessons.

Leadership

We hold in high regard one of the mantras of renown motivational speaker, Shantae Younger, "If it is not your fight, it is your distraction." Project One Way believes youth should learn from hands on experience about the different leadership types, coherent leadership interactions, how to be trustworthy leaders, and scenarios in which their leadership is and is not needed.

Involvement

Here at Project OneWay, we believe that there is a difference between visibility and accessibility. We want to equip youth with the skills to discern between opportunities that are mutualistic and non-complementary.

Scholarship

We are redefining what exemplary scholarship looks like, encouraging youth to achieve the highest grades or level of scholastic esteem that they can, constantly reiterating the relationship between capability and capacity, and how to strive towards your peak without reaching it; pacing oneself.

Service

We believe that one cannot effectively lead in a place that they have not served in. Thus, we also teach that the best leaders are those that return support to the environments which raised them. Therefore, Project One Way is dedicated to teaching the principles of selflessness in service, and the value of service versus charity.
